Abrasive Blaster

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Blaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for finishing by using various blasting techniques. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Blaster will ensure that all blasting operations are conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to company standards and protocols. This is not cabinet blasting. We are using high pressure blasting equipment. Looking for day shift and night shift applicants.

Duties

• Operate blasting equipment to clean, prepare, or finish surfaces as required.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to assist in the blasting process.
• Conduct routine maintenance on blasting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating power tools and hand tools is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength, capable of lifting heavy materials as needed.
• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.
