General Description
The Adult and Graduate Admission Representative is responsible for meeting adult and graduate new student enrollment goals. This position develops and implements adult and graduate recruitment plans and executes the student recruitment strategy set by Enrollment Management Leadership. This will include all aspects of related admissions operations, including but not limited to, recruitment of prospective students, traveling to two-year institutions, transfer fairs, and businesses planning of and attendance at recruitment events on and off campus, assessment of applicant credentials for admission, evaluation of transfer credit and professional training and liaison with faculty. The Adult and Graduate Admission Representative acts as the admissions counselor for assigned populations while also coordinating business to business outreach efforts with the goal of establishing new partnership pipelines for Cleary University.
Specific Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Execute strategies for building the funnel at each stage including increasing inquiries, applicants, and admits.
- Identify barriers or challenges that do not align with an exceptional prospective student experience and collaborate with Leadership to reduce or eliminate these barriers and challenges.
- Develop high-quality information sessions, organize recruitment events, and other activities to connect with, engage, and inform future students.
- Always maintain student record data integrity.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills both in person and in phone conversations.
- Ability to communicate the value of a Cleary University education to prospective students in an impactful way

Incumbent must thrive in a fast-paced environment where success is defined by quantified territory goals.
- Attend regular school and program functions including, but not limited to, department meetings and other meetings deemed necessary.
- Provide regular feedback to supervisor and Marketing department on the quality level of student interactions.

Work closely with other student support offices on campus to ensure a positive and seamless student experience at every point in the student's enrollment process.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge about supported academic programs and Cleary University's differentiators and key selling points by meeting with all the program leaders and marketing on a regular basis.

Possess a strong understanding of the business industry to speak to prospective students needs and wants.
- Develop effective partnerships internally with the staff and faculty.
- Network and travel regionally to build and/or expand on existing beneficial relationships with students, parents, alumni, educators, corporations, and other targeted individuals and audiences. Support existing strategic partnerships and assist in the establishment of new partnerships.
- Build effective external partnerships by being physically present in Livingston County, Wayne County and surrounding area businesses, organizations, Veteran entities, school districts and Community Colleges that serve as key feeders for Cleary University.
- Identify target markets and community partnerships through market research, data analysis, and relationship cultivation to build successful new adult and graduate enrollment pipelines.
- Participate in fairs and new student orientations. Provide regular contact and follow-up services for community outreach. Develop relationships between Cleary University and the wider community. Facilitate development, implementation, and annual assessment of recruitment plan for respective programs.

Continuous Maintain complete records of activities. Collaborate with staff to help attain common goals through participation in meetings, project teams, training, and planning activities.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience working within a college or university setting is a plus but not necessary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment that is subject to constantly changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated undergraduate experience in a) recruitment of prospective students; b) evaluating applications, transcripts, and supplemental documentation; and c) making admissions decisions on prospective applicants, including full consideration of academic records and subjective criteria preferred.
- Night and weekend work may be required.
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Ability to quickly shift between tasks.

- Experience collaborating with public safety agencies or departments to understand their educational needs and recruitment challenges.
- Knowledge of the unique requirements and qualifications desired by individuals seeking education in public safety fields such as law enforcement, firefighting, emergency management, or criminal justice.
- Ability to effectively communicate the value of Cleary University's programs to prospective students interested in careers in public safety.
- Experience developing partnerships with public safety organizations or agencies to enhance recruitment efforts and establish pipelines for prospective students.
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment and accreditation standards relevant to public safety education programs.
