We are hiring dependable Armed Security Officers in Jonesboro, GA to provide coverage at an armed site during afternoon and evening hours. This role requires vigilance, strong observation skills, and a professional presence to ensure the safety of property, employees, and visitors.
Position Details
- Shifts Available: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (MUST WORK ENTIRE SCHEDULE)
- Hours: 4pm-midnight and Saturday, 6pm to 2am
- Location: Jonesboro, GA
- Pay Rate: $20 per hour
- Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong, visible armed security presence at all times
- Monitor premises and conduct routine patrols
- Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Write clear and accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Enforce site policies and client requirements with professionalism
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and management
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid State of Georgia Armed Security Officer License
- Must provide and maintain own firearm with valid firearm license
- Minimum 3 years of armed security experience preferred
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor required
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
