About the Role:

We're seeking experienced and reliable caregivers to support families with part-time or full-time childcare. Roles range from infant care to after-school support and household management. You will be matched based on your availability, skills, and preferences.

What You'll Do (Varies by Family):

  • Provide care for children ranging from newborns to elementary age
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate activities (outdoor play, crafts, learning games)
  • Assist with routines such as naps, feeding, diapering, school pickup/drop-off
  • Prepare meals/snacks and do light child-related housekeeping (laundry, tidying)
  • Communicate openly and kindly with families

Types of Roles Available:

  • Infant care and newborn specialist positions
  • Morning or afternoon part-time nanny roles
  • Full-time placements with benefits
  • After or before-school care with driving support
  • Short-term contracts and overnight newborn care

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2+ years of childcare experience (babysitting, teaching, nannying, etc.)
  • Strong references and a reliable, punctual work style
  • CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtain
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • For driving roles: Valid license, clean record, and insured vehicle
  • Bonus: Experience with Montessori, infants, or household management

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $22–$43/hour depending on role and experience
  • Guaranteed hours for recurring roles
  • Paid time off, sick days, and holidays (for qualifying placements)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
  • Plan and engage in educational activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide age-appropriate care, including feeding, diapering, and bathing infants.
  • Assist with homework and educational tasks for older children.
  • Create a structured daily routine that includes playtime, meals, and rest periods.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, behavior, and any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.
  • Support children with disabilities or special needs as required.
  • Foster a positive relationship with each child to encourage their emotional growth.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in daycare, childcare, babysitting, or nannying is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
  • Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and structured activities.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
  • A nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for caregiving.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Flexibility in schedule to accommodate the needs of the family.
