Babysitter/Nanny

Duties:
- Start time 1:40 pm sharp for school pick up in Gilbert

- Drive child to after school activities and or home

- Prepare snacks, light house work such as homework, laundry, sweeping, mopping, putting away groceries, bathing child and preparing dinner (differs depending on day)

- Cleaning up after the child daily as needed while at home with him

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, either through babysitting, nannying, daycare, or preschool settings

- Must have a safe reliable insured car
- Ability to provide a safe and secure environment for children at all times
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and establish trust
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with parents and provide updates on children's activities and progress
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate varying schedules of parents
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred but not required because we will train if you dont

- There will be a weekly schedule with times and activities

Skills:
- Experience caring for children of various ages, from infants to school-aged kids
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Patience, compassion, and understanding when dealing with children's emotions or challenging behaviors
- Knowledge of age-appropriate developmental milestones and activities to promote learning and growth
- Ability to create a structured yet fun environment for children

We are looking for a reliable and caring individual who is passionate about providing quality childcare. The shift will include picking my son up from school at 1:40 pm and taking him to his extracurricular activities and bringing him home, light house cleaning, cooking a few times a week and taking my daughter to her practices sometimes. My son is very active and loves to play. I need someone who will engage with him and not just "watch" him. The shift ends at 5:15pm. Please note this is a part time position 20 hours a week and sometimes more as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
