Babysitter/Nanny

At Pb+J Collective, we're dedicated to finding the perfect match between nannies and families – just like peanut butter and jelly! We're seeking a seasoned, supportive, and compassionate Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) or Night Nanny to guide them through the early months.

This warm and welcoming family previously partnered with one of our wonderful nannies for their first child, and now, with two little ones on the way, they're hoping to build another strong relationship with a knowledgeable and calm professional.

About the Role

As an Experienced Night Nanny/Newborn Care Specialist, you'll provide attentive overnight care for newborn twins, focusing on their comfort and development while supporting the parents. This is a crucial role that requires expertise in newborn care, particularly with multiples and potentially premature infants.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive overnight care for newborn twins.
• Manage feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and sleep support.
• Maintain detailed logs of sleep, feeding, and any observations.
• Wash and sanitize bottles, pump parts, and pacifiers.
• Support healthy sleep habits and routines.
• Offer guidance to parents around feeding, soothing, and newborn care.

The Ideal Candidate

The right fit will have substantial experience caring for newborns, preferably twins. A strong understanding of the needs of premature infants, including oxygen support, is highly valued. You should possess a calm, confident presence, demonstrate clear communication with parents, and have expertise in infant sleep shaping and feeding routines.

This family values collaboration and already has a full-time daytime nanny they love, so being a team player is essential.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) or Night Nanny.
• Twin experience and/or experience with preemies or oxygen support strongly preferred.
• Expertise in infant sleep shaping and feeding routines.
• Calm, confident, and compassionate demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills with parents.
• Ability to work collaboratively with existing household staff (daytime nanny).
• Must be comfortable with dogs in the home.
• Willingness to transition into some daytime hours if mutually agreed upon.
