Baker and Confectioner

Company Overview

The Bluecorn Bakery is an independent family business based in Norton and Stockton. We have been supplying the local community for almost a decade with freshly baked goods made on the premises every day.

We’re looking for a skilled and creative Confectioner/Baker to join our team.

Hours: 30 hours per week, with additional holiday cover as required
Shifts: Primarily night shifts, with potential for day shifts
Location: 33 High Stret, Norton, TS20 1AH
Salary: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Bake and decorate cakes, tarts, and other baked goods to a professional standard
• Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail in every product
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
• Maintain a clean and organised work space at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a baker or confectioner, with strong cake decorating skills
• Passion for creating high-quality, visually appealing baked goods
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility to work night or day shifts as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
