Bakery Operative (Part-Time, Permanent)

Location: Bedford (MK42)

Hours: 5 days, working hours: between 26-30h/ week , Tue-Wed 12:00am – 4:30am, Thu 12.00am- 5.00am, Fri-Sat 12.00am- 6:00am

Pay: £13.00 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We are a friendly, growing bakery based in Bedford, looking for a reliable and motivated Bakery Operative to join our team for the long term. No previous experience is required – we will provide full training!

What you’ll do:

• Pack and label bread, rolls and other bakery products
• Slice and prepare bread for delivery
• Organise and prepare customer orders for local shops
• Prepare the shop for opening
• Keep your workstation clean and tidy

What we’re looking for:

• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is a bonus, but not essential
• Driving licence is an advantage but not required
• Able to work night shifts (12:00am – 4:30am, sometimes up to 6:00am)
