We are looking for a Forklift Driver to join our shipping team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. Advancement opportunities are available!
Starting Rate: $20.50 hour for day shift, plus shift differential for night shifts
Hours: 4* rotating 12-hour shift, 2 weeks of 6am-6pm/2 weeks of 6pm-6am, both M/T/F/S/S/W/Th
Location: North plant: 2347 Kratzer Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22802

As a Forklift Operator, you will:
- Operate Clamp Forklift equipment, to move large bales of paper
- Operate Forklift to move skids of recyclable materials
- Process departmental paperwork
- Inspect your forklift on a daily basis and service the batteries

Update google docs document for shipping by-products
- Previous forklift experience, standup and/or sit down
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Previous clamp forklift experience is a plus
