Bar Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. This role requires a blend of culinary experience, team management, and exceptional customer service to ensure a high-quality experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities

• Manage the bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment.
• Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement innovative drink menus while maintaining cost control.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and resolving any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and bar offerings.
• Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
• A clear and concise vision of trends and how to manage/market them
• Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

• Bar: 5 years (preferred)
• Bar Management: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
