Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. This role requires a blend of culinary experience, team management, and exceptional customer service to ensure a high-quality experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Manage the bar operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement innovative drink menus while maintaining cost control.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and bar offerings.
- Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
- A clear and concise vision of trends and how to manage/market them
- Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
