We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage management. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Manage daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting excellent customer service.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring all dishes meet our quality standards.
- Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while managing costs effectively.
- Implement and uphold food safety protocols in accordance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative drink pairings that enhance the dining experience.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement within the bar operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Background in food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills to motivate staff.
- Previous experience as a barista
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members alike.
