Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Process transactions using POS systems efficiently, ensuring accurate cashiering practices.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
• Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and hospitality mindset.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
