Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your role will be pivotal in providing exceptional service and maintaining the high standards of our bar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking orders and offering recommendations.
• Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol at all times.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to patrons at the bar.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards in the bar area.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members alike.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service consistently.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
