Summary
We are looking for an energetic and friendly Bartender to join our Pool Bar team at LaGrange Country Club. In this fast-paced role, you’ll quickly prepare and serve drinks, provide upbeat and welcoming service, and help create a fun, enjoyable experience for our members and guests. Teamwork, speed, and attention to detail are essential to keeping service smooth and guests happy.
Responsibilities & Professional Expectations
· Professionalism: Maintain a polished, friendly, and welcoming presence at all times.
· Service Excellence: Provide attentive and engaging service, creating a positive and memorable experience for members and guests.
· Attention to Detail: Prepare and serve drinks accurately, follow recipes, and ensure timely service.
· Teamwork: Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and leadership to keep service smooth and efficient.
· Member Engagement: Greet members by name when possible and personalize interactions to build strong relationships.
· Cash & Transaction Accuracy: Handle payments, member charges, and tabs responsibly and accurately.
· Reliability: Be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Requirements
· Experience: Previous bartending, serving, or hospitality experience is preferred, with an understanding of elevated service standards and guest expectations.
· Service Knowledge: Familiarity with beverage preparation, service flow, and bar operations, with a willingness to learn the traditions and standards of a private club.
· Communication: Clear, courteous, and professional communication with members, guests, and teammates.
· Member Focus: Genuine interest in building relationships and providing personalized service at the bar.
· Attention to Detail: Consistency in drink accuracy, timing, presentation, and follow-through.
· Professionalism: Maintain a polished appearance and respectful demeanor that reflects the club’s values.
· Teamwork: Work collaboratively with servers, culinary staff, and leadership to ensure smooth operations.
· Punctuality & Reliability: Arrive prepared, on time, and dependable for scheduled shifts.
· Adaptability: Comfortable working a variety of services, events, and club functions as needed.

· Tuesday – Sunday and Holidays, cabana is open 12pm-11pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
