Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires experience in bar settings, as well as proficiency with Toast Point of Sale (POS) system . The Bartender will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing inventory, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
• Manage cash handling and transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, particularly during banquets or catering events.
• Uphold all food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation to enhance guest experiences.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
• Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
