Bartender/Server

Job Summary:

The Sauce is seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team! As a bartender in our elevated casual dining restaurant, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, curating a memorable bar experience, and providing exceptional service to our guests. A strong knowledge of craft cocktails, wine, and classic drink preparation is essential. If you take pride in mixology, hospitality, and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere, we’d love to hear from you!

We are located right across the from our sister restaurant The Taco Stache.

Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve high-quality cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages with precision and consistency
• Engage with guests to provide a personalized and welcoming bar experience
• Maintain extensive knowledge of our cocktail, wine, and spirits menu, offering recommendations based on guests’ preferences
• Ensure proper pouring, mixing, and presentation of beverages to align with restaurant standards
• Accurately take orders and process transactions through the POS system
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices and follow all local liquor laws and regulations
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized, including prepping garnishes and batching ingredients as needed
• Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Assist in creating seasonal cocktail specials and contributing to the overall bar program
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience in an upscale or craft cocktail setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, craft mixology, and wine pairings
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess or be willing to obtain proper alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol)
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
