Cannabis Retail Store

Elmwood Cannabis Co, a boutique retail store, is seeking knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate Educators/Sales Associate. Elmwood Cannabis is a community hub for learning and teaching about cannabis. We are on the lookout for a positive, friendly, energetic individual.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, provide cannabis and accessories recommendations, answer questions and operate the POS system, in compliance with all applicable regulations
• Maintain a safe and welcoming work environment for staff and customers
• Abide by all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Background check required
• Selling It Right certificate is required
• Industry experience and/or connections to the cannabis community is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

```Duties```
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met and their questions are answered
- Assist customers with product selection, providing recommendations and information about features and benefits
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including shelves, displays, and checkout counters
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating to management when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers

```Qualifications```
- Bilingual proficiency in English and [second language] is preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating discounts or promotions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
