Care and Support Worker

Hours/Working Pattern: Part time, 30 hours

Montpellier Care Company are looking for care and support workers who are enthusiastic about supporting individuals with complex needs, to join their small team in the Harrogate and district area. They work predominantly with individuals with complex needs, including mental health needs, learning disability, autism and physical needs. They tend to provide longer calls (between 2-5 hrs sessions) which allows workers and service users to really get to know each other. They also provide respite care in people's home, 24 hr support, and night sits.

No experience necessary, however prior experience with autism and mental health or a willingness to learn is desirable. Being a good communicator is essential for this role. You will be support by your team and be able to shadow colleagues prior to undertaking the role to start to build rapport with clients. You must have a driving licence.
