Care Assistant - Days/Nights- Woodlands House Nursing Home -Colliers Wood, London SW19, Part of the Country Court Family

Hours: Days/Nights 33 Hours per week, working weekends on rota
Recently refurbished throughout, Woodlands House Care & Nursing Home is a well-established part of the community in Colliers Wood, Southwest London. The friendly and compassionate care staff led by Edmund the manager, are on hand to provide residential specialist dementia care and round the clock nursing care in a modern & comfortable setting.

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping our residents with personal support and care
- Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
- Supporting residents at meals time
- Interacting with our residents on a personal level
- Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met
ABOUT YOU
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.
- Be no stranger to working long shifts
- Have good written & verbal communication skills
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
- Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
- Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.
