Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team, in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. We operate 12 hour shifts 6:45pm to 7am (one hour unpaid break), worked between Monday and Sunday with alternate weekends off. We have 2 positions each offering 3 nights per week. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of those under their care.

Responsibilities:

Work under the direction of the qualified nursing staff to:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and feeding

- Support clients with mobility around their home

- Engage with residents to promote physical and mental well-being

- Maintain accurate care records

- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes (Log My Care)

Qualifications required:

- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills

- Experience in understanding and working to care plans would be advantageous

- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes

- Previous experience in nursing home care or care home settings is advantageous
