Role: Female Support Worker
Pay Rate: £13.50 – £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience & shifts)
Contract: Full-time & Part-time positions available
Shift Pattern:

• Day shifts: 2:1 support
• Night shifts: 1:1 support

Start Date: Paid induction training ASAP

About the Role

We are recruiting a dedicated team of female Support Workers to assist a female client living in the Cambridge area. The client has complex needs and exhibits challenging behaviours, requiring a structured and consistent support approach.

Support is provided on a 2:1 basis during the day and 1:1 overnight, so you will never work alone during daytime shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 or 2:1 person-centred care depending on shift
• Assist with personal care, household tasks, and accessing the community
• Support the client in managing and regulating behaviour using Positive Behaviour Support strategies
• Promote independence, safety, and quality of life
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to ensure consistent care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Female applicants only* (Equality Act 2010 – Schedule 9, Part 1)
• Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours
• Resilient, calm, and confident in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred (client may require transportation support)
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
• Training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) or similar
• Experience in lone-working or small-team care settings
