Care Team Leader - Nights

Full time and part time roles available (11 hour shifts)

As a Care Team Leader in our dementia care home, you will play a pivotal role in leading a compassionate and skilled care team to deliver person-centred care to residents living with dementia. You will ensure that care practices reflect the highest standards of dignity, respect, and empathy, while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for both residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor care staff during shifts, ensuring high-quality care delivery
• Develop and maintain individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing, responding promptly to changes or concerns
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding protocols, and internal policies
• Support new staff through induction and ongoing development
• Act as a point of contact for families, providing updates and emotional support

Person Specification:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior care role, ideally within dementia care
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for dementia care
