Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Assist clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring them safely when necessary.
• Support clients with medication reminders and manage basic medical records as required.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with conditions such as dementia or those requiring long-term care support.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Requirements

• Knowledge of dementia care and long-term care practices is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
• Physical capability to lift clients and perform necessary tasks while maintaining safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain detailed records of client care activities.
• A compassionate attitude towards helping others, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
