Cashier/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently handling transactions. You will assist with sales, manage cash handling duties, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their shopping experience.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
• Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure the store is well-presented.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services offered in the store.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers is essential.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in sales transactions effectively.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves.

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
