Nursing Assistant Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in our Assisted Living and Memory Care hybrid community. This role is critical in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting nursing staff with daily tasks. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with patients of all ages, including disabled adults and geriatrics with dementia, brain injuries, and other chronic conditions, to deliver high-quality care, compliance, and compassion.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation using ECP.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and concerns.
• Support the mobility of patients by helping them move safely within the facility.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, or other healthcare facility Is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in geriatrics or disabled adults is a plus.
• Compassionate attitude towards caregiving and patient care.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients safely.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
