Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in the home setting. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort, and delivering high-quality care to individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities and memory care requirements.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Administer medications as prescribed while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide support to nursing staff in a variety of settings including nursing homes and clinics.
- Engage with patients to promote emotional well-being and provide companionship.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks software for documentation and patient management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a nursing home or senior care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology and medication administration is essential.
- Familiarity with working in a Level II Trauma Center or similar healthcare environment is a plus.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are critical for success in this role.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $17.04 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
