Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in food preparation and presentation. As a Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Your role will involve supervising kitchen staff, managing food safety protocols, and contributing to menu development.

Duties

• Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
• Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.
• Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervision.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
• Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
