Child Care Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Director to lead our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education administration and higher education teaching, with a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children. This role requires effective leadership skills, the ability to engage with students, and a focus on developing educational programs that meet the needs of our community.

Duties

• Oversee the daily operations of the child care facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement educational programs that promote child development and learning.
• Supervise and mentor staff, providing training and support to enhance their professional growth.
• Engage with parents and families to foster strong relationships and encourage their involvement in the program.
• Monitor student progress and adapt programs as necessary to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with community organizations to enhance resources available for children and families.
• Maintain accurate records related to student enrollment, staff performance, and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• A degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is essential.
• Proven experience in higher education teaching or administration is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
• A passion for educating young children and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,911.54 - $65,087.02 per year
