Job Description
The top step for this position is currently $68,198.36 , PLUS, an excellent benefits package! T he position will receive a 5% COLA in July 2025 and a 3% COLA in July 2026, bringing the top step to $73,756.52.

Civilian Dispatchers are required to work holidays and weekends, as well as evenings, night, and early morning shifts. Dispatchers will work 12.5-hour shifts plus one 10-hour payback schedule once a month. Shift rotation occurs every three (3) months (day shift to night shift or vice versa), based on seniority.

THE POSITION
Under general supervision from the Civilian Dispatch Supervisor, the Civilian Dispatcher will have the ability to receive and transmit routine and emergency telephone and voice radio messages and to dispatch required law enforcement personnel and equipment.
