Job Title: Clinical Nurse Administrator
Location: Brattleboro, VT
Assignment Duration: 6 Weeks with possible extension
Shift: Nights (Monday–Thursday)
Shift Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36 (9 hours/day)
Rate:

• $85/hr on w2 without benefits for LOCALS
• $95/hr on w2 without benefits for TRAVELLER"S

Weekend Requirements: None
On-Call Requirements: None

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Nurse Administrator to oversee and manage clinical and administrative operations during overnight hours at a hospital in Brattleboro, VT. This role requires a confident leader with a deep understanding of hospital policies, nursing procedures, and patient care operations. The Clinical Nurse Administrator will ensure optimal patient flow, staff support, and effective communication between departments during off-hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the administrative and clinical leader during overnight hours (Monday–Thursday).
• Supervise and support patient care units and hospital staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure efficient patient throughput and safe clinical operations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, department heads, and administrators-on-call to address patient and staffing needs.
• Apply hospital policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality care.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, providing guidance and direction as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience:
• Proven leadership and time management skills – Required
• Emergency or Critical Care nursing experience – Preferred
• Clinical management experience – Preferred
• Certifications:
• ACLS (AHA) – Required
• PALS and NRP – Preferred
• Must be willing to obtain additional required certifications if not already active
• Licensure:
• Vermont RN License – Required (must be willing and eligible to obtain)
• Other Requirements:
• COVID vaccination not required but must be disclosed if applicable

• Two supervisory references from the last two years
