Cocktail Bartender/Waiter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while ensuring a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment. Your role is crucial in maintaining the bar's atmosphere and contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer requests.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper change is given.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and food safety practices.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• A friendly demeanour with the ability to engage customers positively and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing menus or drink specials as required.
