In-Home Community Habilitation (Comm Hab) Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Multiple families are hiring through Shivoo right now. Each assignment is 1:1 in-home support (not a group home).

These families are looking for In-Home Community Habilitation (Comm Hab) Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities.

This opportunity is open to both experienced caregivers and individuals new to the field. Training may be available depending on the family and program.

Pay

• $22.00 – $40.00 per hour, based on assignment and experience

Schedule

• Full-time or part-time opportunities
• 1–40 hours per week
• Morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts may be available

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities
• Assist with daily living and personal care tasks as needed
• Build consistent, supportive relationships
• Follow care plans and safety guidelines
• Document activities as required by the family or program

Qualifications

• No previous professional experience required
• Reliable, caring, and willing to learn
• Driver’s license preferred for community-based assignments
• Prior experience in DSP, education, ABA, or caregiving is a plus
