Commercial/Residential Plumber

Our Residential/Commercial Service Plumber typically works an 8-hour day. There is also a rotating on-call schedule for emergency services. This position comes with a competitive wage of $24-$40/hour based on experience.

Position Requirements:

• Natural ability to work with your hands
• Comfortable talking with customers, educating each homeowner on their plumbing needs and potential improvements to optimize the systems' performance and safety
• Strong work ethic, excellent customer service, and a do-what-it-takes attitude to ensure that every customer experience is exceptional

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems during new construction or remodeling projects
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure their proper functioning
• Use a variety of tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, wrenches, and soldering torches, to complete plumbing tasks
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions

Minimum qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills/ability to interact with the public
• State-issued Journeyman Or Master License is a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• 5+ years in a service truck
• Willing to work overtime in the evening and Saturday/Sunday
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
