Concierge

We are currently seeking a Concierge to join our building staff. Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Concierge plays a key role in ensuring the safety, privacy, and comfort of the building and its residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
• Verify the identity of all visitors and residents entering the premises
• Monitor building premises and provide basic security services
• Respond promptly to emergencies and conduct routine patrols
• Communicate with residents to address any concerns or questions
• Take on porter duties one day per week as needed
  
  

Job Requirements

• Must maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others
• Prior experience in a residential or hospitality setting is a plus
• Willingness to perform porter responsibilities once a week
• Position requires availability for the overnight shift, from 12:00AM to 7:00AM
  
  

Compensation

Pay rate will be determined in accordance with the 32BJ union contract.
