Concrete Pump Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Pump Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate concrete pumping equipment to efficiently deliver concrete to various construction sites, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality results. Your expertise will help bring construction projects to life by accurately and safely handling heavy machinery, coordinating with other crew members, and maintaining equipment. Duties

• Operate concrete pumping machinery to transfer concrete from mixers to designated locations on construction sites, ensuring precise placement.
• Coordinate with the construction crew to understand project requirements and adjust pumping operations accordingly for optimal efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on concrete pumps, mixers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and other related equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Assist with the setup of concrete forms, rebar installation, and finishing tasks as needed to support overall project progress.
• Drive commercial vehicles such as dump trucks and other heavy-duty equipment to transport materials between sites or storage areas.
• Maintain clear communication with site supervisors regarding progress, equipment issues, or safety concerns during operations.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Keep detailed records of daily operations, equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety inspections for accountability and reporting purposes.
• Support additional construction activities including concrete finishing, paving, or rebar placement as required by project scope.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as concrete pumps, in a construction environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to concrete pumps, and associated machinery for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for operating commercial vehicles safely on public roads.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, climbing equipment platforms, and working in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site supervisors effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols.
• Prior experience working with concrete finishing techniques is a plus but not mandatory. Join us in building the future! Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
