Construction Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled construction workers to join our team for this project in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of team tasks; including tying rebar, sandblasting, learning to run a concrete line pump, running aerial lift equipment, working at heights,pulling concrete hose, and other general construction tasks, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about new construction building and wants to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Work with the team each day in a variety of construction related activities.
- Communicate effectively with construction personnel to coordinate lift plans and ensure a smooth construction process.
-Be willing to participate in a variety of construction tasks
- Operate forklift at times to transport materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Requirements:
- Solid work ethic
- Familiarity with construction safety expectations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of forklift operation, willing to be trained
- Ability to work at heights and in extreme weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Able to get to work every day, be on-time- use their Construction experience

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 weeks

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
