Job Title: Content Writer

Location: Remote

Schedule: This is a full-time role working Wednesday to Sunday, 9 AM – 6 PM (GMT+5:30 to GMT+8), which aligns with Asian time zones. The role provides overnight coverage for our global teams in the Americas and the UK, so candidates must either be based in this region or able to consistently work these hours regardless of location.

Contract: This is a 6-month contract with a 3-month probation period and the potential to extend based on performance and business needs.

Pay: $1,200 USD per month

The Role

We are seeking an exceptionally talented Travel Writer & Content Creator to join our remote global team. As a travel enthusiast yourself, you’ll craft engaging custom itineraries that connect with Gen Z adventurers and wellness retreat seekers. With creativity and versatility, you’ll deliver original content that drives bookings and elevates the TourHero platform experience for our travellers, operators, and TourHeroes.

You’ll be providing overnight content support for our global teams across South America, North America, and the UK, so you must be confident working independently, managing your own time, and making sound editorial decisions without direct oversight.

Please note: This is NOT a traditional copywriting position. Writing copy is only 50% of the job! You’ll wear a lot of creative and data-driven hats in this role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work independently on a variety of tasks, ranging from creating travel itinerary booking pages to editing current itineraries based on client feedback

• Produce 3 - 5 detailed travel itineraries per day (averaging 2,000 words each), turning around high-quality pieces within tight, same-day deadlines

• Log and update/edit existing itineraries as needed based on operator / client feedback

• Use yaml (basic coding CMS platform) to upload and edit itineraries

• Communicate cross-functionally, especially with Wellness, Operations, and Customer Experience teams, to ensure itineraries are accurate, engaging, and appealing

• Write engaging travel/lifestyle articles resonating with potential Gen Z adventurers and wellness retreat enthusiasts

• Continuously ideate fresh concepts and source inspiring photography to elevate your content

About You

• You LOVE travel and understand the ins and outs of trip building, travel packages, etc.

• Exceptional command of English writing with impeccable grammar, spelling, and syntax

• Minimum 1+ years of content writing/copywriting experience; travel writing / trip planning background is preferred

• Know basic coding principles / yaml or willing to learn

• Thrive in a remote environment with minimal supervision

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple tasks and tight deadlines

• Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver with a continuous growth mindset

• Critical thinker with a high attention to detail

• Genuine passion for exploring new cultures and sharing transformative travel experiences
