Cook/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic team member to join our team. In this role, you will providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience from the moment they arrive. You will be responsible for cooking, cleaning & guest inquiries, processing transactions, and assisting with food service operations in a fast-paced environment. This position will be 20-25 hours a week Sunday & Mondays with some Fridays & Saturday nights available. Location open 11a-8p, no late nights or early mornings shifts start 10:30am and out by 8:30pm.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide them with information about menu items and services.
• Process orders efficiently using Toast POS systems while ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Assist with food preparation and handling, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling duties, including processing payments and providing change accurately.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area & restrooms, including bussing tables and ensuring a tidy environment along with dishes.
• Cook to the standards of the company with quality presentation
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Utilize time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Experience with food service operations, including serving and food preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
