Daycare Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and education of children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques to guide children's actions.
• Provide individualized support to children with disabilities or special needs, adapting activities as necessary.
• Engage with children through play, storytelling, and educational activities to promote their development.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the classroom and outdoor play areas.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.

Requirements

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in classroom management and working with children with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in caregiving.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
• Previous experience as a nanny or babysitter can be beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to educate and engage young learners effectively.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children are essential qualities for this role.
