Digital Content Associate

We are hiring a Digital Content Associate to join a top sports media company in Bristol, CT. This freelance position will run for 12 months with potential to extend and will be based onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Produce and edit daily video content for distribution across digital channels.
• Analyze content metadata plus usage and performance metrics that lead to content enhancements and storyline improvements
• Create and aggregate cohesive content experiences for a digital audience
• Effectively manage production timelines to ensure projects are executed on time
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of media experience with a focus on digital media
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight hours
• Editing skills in Premiere; Quantel, Final Cut, Avid, After Effects a plus
• Strong base of current sports knowledge, including teams, players and storylines
• Understand and follow closely the latest in social media trends
• Excellent headline writing skills; an understanding of optimal tactics for content distribution
• Experience in editing content, specific to the needs and specs for digital platforms.
• Experience working in a mobile-first content environment
• Experience working with a variety of digital content management systems
