Dining Room Supervisor/Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests inour Retirement Home dining environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that each dining experience is enjoyable and memorable, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive in the dining area.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions regarding food preparation or ingredients.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Assist with bartending duties when necessary, including preparing drinks and serving cocktails.
• Support management by supervising junior staff members during shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a retirment home, nursing home, or restaurant.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and restaurant management practices is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A passion for providing excellent service and creating positive dining experiences for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$22.76 per hour
