We're looking for compassionate overnight Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our dedicated team and provide essential care and structure during the overnight hours.

Job Description 

Role: Direct Support Professional (DSP) 

Location: San Diego, CA 

Schedule: Overnight Shifts (Full-time): Flexible 8-hour shifts, for example between 9pm-9am

Setting: Residential Group Home, up to 6 residents in home.

Resident Ages: 13-18 years old.

Pay: $20hr-$22hr depending on experience and credentials.

Responsibilities  

● Provide 1 on 1 support and supervision to residents during overnight hours. 

● Stay awake during overnight shift.

● Ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals throughout the night.

● Support calming nighttime routines (ex., brushing teeth, bedtime prep).

● Assist with personal hygiene or behavioral needs if needed. 

● Document sleep patterns, behavior observations, and any overnight incidents. 

● Prepare the home for the morning shift. 

● Respond appropriately and effectively to behavioral escalations, if they occur. 

● Communicate ongoing care results and updates to leadership.

● Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment and community experiences.

● Drive resident when needed.

 Who We’re Looking For 

● Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or similar (not required).

● DSP certified or able to obtain.

● RBT is a plus!

● 1 year experience working with youth or individuals with behavior challenges. 

● Must be 18+ and able to pass background check.

● Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
