Dog Daycare Playroom Attendant & Overnight Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our daycare facility. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and temperaments while ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have experience in dog handling and a strong commitment to customer service.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
• Monitor the behavior of dogs and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts.
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including cleaning up after the dogs.
• Administer basic care such as feeding, watering, and providing medication as needed.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for both dogs and staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dog handling or pet care is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners.
• Knowledge of animal restraint techniques is a plus.
• Experience as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician is beneficial.
• Familiarity with kennel operations is advantageous.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and handling dogs of various sizes.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care is essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
