Hospitality Night Shift Part-time

Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Kennel Staff to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of animals in our facility. You will ensure a clean and safe environment while providing excellent customer service to pet owners. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks.

Duties

  • Provide daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces by performing regular cleaning tasks.
  • Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Assist with customer service duties, including checking in and out pets and answering inquiries from pet owners.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect both animals and staff.
  • Perform heavy lifting as needed when moving supplies or handling larger animals.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive environment for both pets and their owners.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physical activities throughout the shift.
  • A compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their welfare.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Shifts are anywhere from 2-4 hours 3-4 days a week

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.85-$18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 14 per week
