Job Description
Job Title: ER RN
Location: Laveen, AZ 85339
Start Date: November 17, 2025
End Date: February 16, 2026
Contract Type: Travel
Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 36
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency care to diverse patient populations across multiple satellite ERs
- Perform Foley catheter insertions and port-a-cath procedures while maintaining sterile technique
- Titrate emergency medications and manage vent-capable patients
- Draw labs, administer IVs, and respond to acute medical needs without an IV team
- Interpret cardiac strips independently (no monitor tech support)
- Collaborate with limited on-site staff and adapt quickly to changing environments
- Float between designated ER locations with advance scheduling provided
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- TNCC (preferred but not required)
Education
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Cerner charting
- Skilled in emergency procedures, medication titration, and trauma response
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability across multiple locations
- Excellent communication and time management in low-staffed environments
