Job Description
Compensation for roles at THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, THE CAMP RECOVERY CENTER provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California as set forth below.
Role Location : CALIFORNIA
Calculated Hourly Range for role EMT
State - California : $24.00 - $25.09 per hour plus $3.00 overnight differential

This is a Full Time Overnight position 11:00pm-7:30am - days to be determined, and are overtime eligible.
Essential Functions Of The Emt
- Accurately obtain and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure.
- Use emergency skills and knowledge to assess a patient’s cardiac and respiratory status or manage and respond to emergencies.
- Assist with the completion of patient biopsychosocial assessment, including assisting with admission and discharge of patients.
- Monitor physical and emotional well-being of patients and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff.
- Prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed.
- Give medications, following instructions from physicians, other prescribing medical professionals or where approved by state law or regulations for EMTs.
- Collaborate with other staff in working with the population of the facility to treat, rehabilitate and return patients to the community.
- Comply with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintain organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality.

Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
- Education - High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Experience - Knowledge or experience working with clients who are chemically dependent preferred
- RADT_i, or EMT certification preferred
- Licenses - Current Driver's License
- Special Requirements - Knowledge of 12 Step Recovery
