The Role You'll Contribute
Provides supervision for the daily functions and activities within environmental services department. Is responsible for supervising EVS staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met for the hospital and adjacent facilities. Promotes teamwork to ensure work is completed timely and helps maintain an efficient and safe working environment. Assumes responsibility of day, evening or night shift operation of the EVS department and related responsibilities.

- Supervises/monitors staff to ensure that work is properly performed
- May create and review schedules. Approves scheduling requests
- Documents all work that has been performed such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Regularly surveys departmental procedures for adherence to acceptable cleaning practices

- High School Grad or Equiv

Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Professional (CHESP)
