Charlotte Fire Protection is looking for a Manager / Lead Fire Suppression Technician — someone who’s earned their stripes and is ready for more. If you’ve ever said, “I could run this company better,” we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead suppression system inspections, installations, and repairs for commercial kitchens
  • Mentor and train junior techs (yes, you will be managing teams)
  • Communicate directly with customers and management — your input matters here
  • Coordinate with scheduling and sales for smoother workflows
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA 17A, 96, and 10, plus local codes

What You Bring:

  • Your written plans to Manage and Pay technicians - the way you think is best
  • 5+ years in commercial kitchen fire suppression (Ansul, Pyro-Chem, Kidde, etc.)
  • South Carolina certification up to date
  • Clean driving record and valid license
  • Strong leadership instincts — or even better, some crew lead experience
  • The ability to think on your feet (and maybe even in a kitchen after a suppression dump)

Pay: $27.50 - $32.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • South Carolina Fire Extinguisher Certificate (Required)

Location:

  • Huntersville, NC 28078 (Required)

Shift availability:

  • Overnight Shift (Preferred)
  • Day Shift (Required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Huntersville, NC 28078 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
