About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Fish Fryer to join our crew! You’ll be responsible for preparing and frying a range of items to perfection, working efficiently in a tight-knit team, and helping us deliver an unforgettable chippy experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Fry fish, chips and other menu items
• Maintain oil quality and monitor cooking times and temperatures
• Set up, clean, and maintain fryers and prep stations
• Monitor stock levels for batter, fish, potatoes, oil etc.
• Work with the team to keep service smooth during busy periods
• Follow all food hygiene, allergen and safety procedures
• Help prep food before service and clean down at the end of shift
• Occasionally feature in social media content (POV frying videos, trends, or behind-the-scenes moments)

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working in a fryer role or professional kitchen preferred
• Calm under pressure, reliable, and a quick thinker
• Able to work cleanly and efficiently in a mobile kitchen setup
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
• Enjoys working in a small team and interacting with the public
• A love for fish and chips (and trying something new every now and then!)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
