Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Flexible Schedule Security Guard in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Protection Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. This position requires the selected candidate to work a nonstandard schedule. Although this position is scheduled for 40 hours, the individual will work weekends and holidays and must be able to rotate between day and night shift. You must be available to work overtime and report for duty on short call. Framatome Security responds to security situations per NRC regulations, standing orders, and security procedures. Security is the emergency notification authority by contacting emergency dispatch, plant emergency personnel, and acts as a callback contact for regulatory agencies. Security is the steward of the company's property. Your work will include:

• Performing security foot/vehicle patrols of buildings, perimeter fences/barriers, and inspections of packages/bags
  
• Controlling property exiting the facilities by assuring completion of proper passes
  
• Enforcing regulations regarding the safeguards of proprietary and classified information
  
• Performing inspections of vehicles entering or leaving the premises
• Monitoring activities outside of the perimeter area by usage of surveillance equipment or physical patrol
  
• Assuring all employees, visitors, and customers observe security rules and regulations
  
• Maintaining the security database and ensuring proper operation of the access control system
• Responsibility for issuing badges to company personnel and contracted vendors
  
• Assisting emergency team members as directed and performing duties as traffic control coordinator during emergencies
  
• Performing person and package searches (employee and non-employee)
• Must play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace, aid in the observation of others compliance with safety rules and comply with all applicable health and safety rules

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $21.10 - $27.60 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
